Event Statuses

There are 14 possible event statuses, they are listed below.

• Taking Bets

  • Entrants can join and exit event

  • Authors can cancel event

• Bets Closed - Event In-Progress

  • Entrants can no longer join or exit event

  • Authors can no longer cancel event unless one side has a zero balance

• Pending Author Selection

  • Event has surpassed it's selection date and the author can make a selection

• Winner Selected. Disputes Open.

  • Author has made a selection, any entrant can dispute the outcome.

• Pending Author Payout

  • No dispute, author can execute the payout of the event

• No Selection- Author Takeover Activated

  • Author did not make a selection, another author can now takeover their event

• No Payout - Author Takeover Activated

  • Author did not execute the payout in a timely manner, another author can now takeover their event

• Draw Selected. Disputes Open.

  • Author selected a draw, entrants can now dispute the outcome.

• Pending Draw Author Payout

  • No disputes, author can now payout/refund entrants.

• Draw Not Finalized - Author Takeover Activated

  • Author did not pay out the draw, another author can takeover the event.

• In Dispute

  • Event outcome was disputed by an entrant. Pending selection by DAO.

• Dispute Settled

  • DAO has made selection regarding a dispute.

• Draw Dispute Settled.

  • DAO has made a selection regarding a dispute and ruled it a draw.

• Event Complete.

  • Event was successful and paid out.

• Event Complete [Dispute]

  • Event was disputed and paid out.

• Final Result: DRAW

  • Event is complete and was a draw.
