Create Keybase Account

This tutorial will be used to:

1. Create a Keybase.io account

2. Verify your Twitter account

3. Create a public PGP fingerprint

   1. This is what you will paste into the author creation wizard

Create Keybase.io Account

1. Navigate to https://keybase.io

2. Click Install and install on your computer and/or phone

3. Install the Keybase application

4. Create an account

   1. If you have an account already, login.

5. Once created, verified and logged in to the Keybase app

6. Click "Edit Profile"

7. Click "Prove your Twitter"

   1. Follow the steps to prove your Twitter account

8. Once Twitter is proven, click "Add a PGP key"

   1. Click "Get a new PGP key"

   2. Enter your name and an email address

   3. Once generated, navigate to https://keybase.io/_/api/1.0/user/lookup.json?twitter= -> Add your Twitter username to the end of this URL

      1. For example: https://keybase.io/_/api/1.0/user/lookup.json?twitter=FuzzFinance

   4. Search for key_fingerprint and copy the value located in yellow in the screenshot below, do not include quotes.

   5. 
   6. Once copied, paste that into the author profile creation wizard.
